Supporting green corridor projects

Further encouraging the development and adoption of zero-emission fuels and technologies in the shipping industry, NG3 is proud to present its Green Plug charging solution to provide high-power and fast-charging solutions for future green corridor projects for fully electric ro-pax vessels.

Based on proven 11kV Plug self-mating/de-mating connector technology, the main features of this latest development include a twin configuration, offering both redundancy and flexibility; fully automated operations, providing charging power within seconds of the vessel’s arrival; compatibility with large tidal and draft (or deck location) and longitudinal position variations; power exchange capability scalable to higher voltage and higher amperage; reduced onboard and quayside footprints; ship and quayside installation within two weeks; limited harbor engineering; emergency release capability; compliance with IEC 80005 functional requirements; and compliance with Class and EC Machinery Directive and Eurocode.

The team invites you to see firsthand – at Electric and Hybrid Marine Expo – how this latest development can help operators move ever closer to zero-emission shipping.
