Kristine Bruun Ludvigsen has been a senior researcher at Sintef Ocean since November 2024. Her work focuses on developing sustainable shipping solutions by increasing the use of autonomy and new energy systems. Ludvigsen holds an MSc in marine technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a PhD from the same institution, both focusing on the modeling and simulation of marine power plants. From 2008 until 2024, Ludvigsen held various positions at DNV AS, working in R&D, class approval and HIL testing of control systems, and providing advisory services for greener shipping.
