Espen Larsen-Hakkebo

Espen Larsen-Hakkebo has supervised the building of five electric and hybrid vessels for Brim Explorer since 2018, and is responsible for the technical operation and innovations at Brim Explorer. He is the CEO of Brim Tech, a provider of highly efficient maritime electric propulsion solutions and fully integrated electric drivelines. Brim Tech has tested and brought to market innovative direct drive technology for all ship types and is pioneering weight-saving technology and hull designs. Larsen-Hakkebo is motivated by pushing the boundaries in a conservative industry, implementing new technical solutions to move goods and people at sea. He holds a master's in European society, science and technology from the University of Oslo, and has previously worked in public affairs in Brussels.
