Masahiro Ito

Masa Ito launched his first company Yappa at just 17 years old. In 2014, Masa joined Zozo Group through M&A and served as the CEO of Zozo Technologies. Later, he was appointed as the board member and COO of Zozo, which is now well-known for its many innovative inventions, including 3D body measuring devices such as ZOZOSUIT and ZOZOMAT. In 2021, Masa founded PowerX with a mission to boost Japan’s energy self-sufficiency through renewables. As CEO, he leads the development of advanced, vertically integrated Battery Energy Storage Systems that help stabilize renewable power and reduce fossil fuel dependence. PowerX is now one of Japan’s leading energy solution providers.
