Louis Michielsens

Louis Michielsens joined Van Meer in Tholen in 2008, a rapidly growing company that develops drive systems for electric ship propulsion. Together with Luc van Meer, CEO and co-owner of the company alongside his brother, he has dedicated his focus to the drives department. Over the years, Michielsens has grown into his current role as CTO. After earning his HBO degree in 2010, he has dedicated his entire career to drive technology, with an increasing focus in recent years on the electrification of the maritime sector. In this field, DC grids are playing an increasingly important role.
