Mathijs de Graaf is project manager of electrification at GVB Ferries, the operator providing more than 28 million passengers with a reliable and safe crossing between the north and center of Amsterdam. He is responsible for converting the ferry operation to full electric, including charging infrastructure, grid connections, fleet expansion and retrofitting the existing fleet. de Graaf works closely with a team of experts to develop innovative and sustainable solutions, ensuring a seamless transition toward zero-emission ferry transportation in Amsterdam.
